Heritage, restored
We're honouring 155 years of history with a thoughtful restoration: the character kept, the comfort brought up to date.

One of Barnet's oldest pubs is under new ownership and reopening mid next week, after a tidy up and a lick of paint. The full refit follows in 2027, and we'd like you to help shape it.
For over 150 years the Sebright Arms has been a place where Barnet comes together: for a quiet pint, a big match, a birthday, a catch-up after the school run.
Over time it lost a little of its sparkle. We think it deserves better, and so do you. Our plan is simple: bring back the warmth, the welcome and the sense of belonging that made it special, then add a few things it has never had before.
Have an old photograph or a favourite memory of the Sebright? We'd love to see it. Share a memory, or send it to info@thesebrightarms.co.uk.

We're not showing our hand just yet. Some of it is nearly certain, some of it is a dream, and all of it is up for discussion. What we'd genuinely like to know is what you want.
The plans are still moving, and we'll share them here as they firm up. We'd rather build this around you than around a guess, so tell us:
We're listening before we change a thing. Tell us what you loved about the Sebright, what you've missed, and what would bring you in more often. Every response is read.

We want a pub that works for everyone, from the morning coffee to the Sunday table, with children as welcome as their parents.
We'll give local clubs a home, put on events worth leaving the house for, and make it a place where neighbours meet.
The Sebright Arms is owned by Ben Dillon and Lex Deak, both long-standing Barnet residents.
If you love a proper local and would like a hand in building one, put yourself forward now. Tell us who you are and when you could start.
We'll share all of it: the plans, the progress, the setbacks and the wins.
